Dr Bernard Dengis

A lifetime of passion for medicine.
My practical experience began at the University of Liege, where cancer screening was an integral part of my studies for four years. During this time, I performed hundreds of screenings for skin, prostate and uterine cancer, which gave me an early knowledge base that I still use today.
I worked at the Botanical Garden of Liege for 5 years, where I was a sponsor and collaborator of the professor of the University of Liege in the field of pharmacological and phytotherapeutic plants. I studied the different applications of medicinal plants for cancer prevention, and mapped the nervous, cardiological and lymphatic system.
.
At that time, I had been working for 8 years in the laboratory of the University of Liege for the analysis of blood and tissue samples and trained students in diabetology as part of the Erasmus programme.
I have treated all ages in my career.
For 13 years I was head of the geriatric department of the Valdor hospital.
Where I specialised in
electrocardiogram and its analysis. With this certification, I was then able to start offering to perform these electrocardiograms in my practice.
Today, I also train new generations of general practitioners at the University Hospital.
For several years, I have been treating my patients in my own practice in the centre of Liege,
always concerned with the modernisation and digitalisation of the organisation of medical care.
